DOOM Stat RPG Mod
Words words words words words words words words words words words words words words words words words words words (TLDR; Sum up the entire idea in less than 50 words so we know what it is and why we should think it's cool.

• Kill mobs to gain exp • Stat point is given on level up. You can use the stat point to build your own character.
Stats are:
Resistance | | Enemies deal less damage to you, rockets deal less damage, and increases max armor | • Max resistance 25% • Max self rocket damage 50% less • +100 armor max (resistance to enemies 1% per stat point, self rocket damage 2% stat point, and +4 armor per stat point) | Enragement | | Deal more damage to enemies and increase fire rate | •Max Damage 25% •Max increased fire rate 12.5% (1% damage per stat point, .5% fire rate per stat point) | Stamina | | Increases max HP and Movement speed | •Max increased HP 200 •Max movement speed 25% 4 HP per stat point, 1% speed per stat point |
EXP gained per mob is based on a tenth of their HP, max level you can get is to the point where you can get 25 in each stat (in other words 100). All stats start at 0, some sort of sub menu where you can hit a button and put a point into that stat etc.

So new idea, it expands (and also derps around with some things)
Ok instead of it being only 5 stats you can put them into, it'll be one of 6 stats instead here it goes
Health - increases max HP by 20 each stat put into this stat, Upon reaching level 3, health kits give more health than before hand (medkits being 30% and stimpacks being 15%), Upon reaching level 5 health kits heal for a ridiculous amount, (Medkits being 50% of your total health while stimpacks heal for 25%) Max health will be 200 (meaning a fucking medkit can heal you for 100 health!)
Movement speed - Increases movement speed by 5% each level, upon level 3 a dash will be available, upon level 5 dash is improved
Jump height - Increases your jump height by 20% for each put into this stat, upon reaching level 3, you gain a double jump, upon reaching level 5, your double jump will be the equivalent to a level 3 normal jump, and you even earn a TRIPLE JUMP!
Armor - Increases max armor efficient by 10% each level, (meaning blue will give you up to 100% protection, HOLY FUCK IS IT A SHIELD NOW?!) upon reaching level 3 armor shards give 5% more armor, upon level 5 armor shards give 10% armor and you gain additional 20% natural damage reduction EVEN WHEN YOU HAVE NO ARMOR LEFT OVER, ROCK HARD ABS MOTHER FUCKER! (or something)
Advanced weaponry (D) - All weapon damage increased by 5% each level, Upon level 3, pistol becomes a revolver dealing 10-30 damage with more accuracy, shotgun becomes a belt fed shotgun, SSG fires piercing shells, and the chaingun becomes a minigun, upon reaching level 5 rocket launcher becomes a rocket MIRV launcher (upon rocket's explosion 5 tiny bombs that deal 25 direct damage come out), plasma rifle fires 2 plasma balls for 1 ammo (stays the same probably just going to be a recolor or something else later) BFG9k becomes BFG10k and instantly causes the bfg ray while causing instant explosions as well.
Advanced weaponry (FR) - Increases firerate by 5% each level, Upon level 3 ammo pick ups give 50% more, upon level 5 ammo pick ups give double ammo and guns with spread (hitscan mainly) become more accurate!
Now with all that badass shit added, we're going to have INTERCOURSE interactions with each other between certain stats
Upon having 3 stat points into both movement speed and jump height, you can now dash in mid air and dashs on ground will make you jump, making the dash go further than before!
Upon level 3 health and level 3 armor, medkits and stimpacks give armor to half of what the health gives (if it heals 40% it gives 20% armor), and armor pick ups restore a fourth of the armor that they give (50% for green and 100% for blue)
Upon having 5 of both Advanced weaponries (FR) and (D), new weapons can be bought and all weapons can be instantly switched to/from.

Level up goes by exp, each monster killed will go to everyone's exp bar, even if the monsters kill themselves from infighting

Level up exp rates Level 0 - 0 exp Level 1 - 100xp Level 2 - 175 Level 3 - 300 Level 4- 625 Level 5 - 900 Level 6 - 1000 Level 7 - 1250 Level 8 - 1500 Level 9 - 1750 Level 10 - 2500 Every level after requires 2500
The stat points Each level you are rewarded with a stat point to put into one of the following
Defense Health - increases max health by 10 per stat point. At 5 stimpacks heal for 15 and medkits heal for 40. At 10 health stimpacks heal for 25 and medkits heal for 50
Armor - Increases natural defense by 2% each level. At 5 green armor defense increases by 20%. At level 10 green armor's defense increases by 10% and blue armor becomes a shield
Agility - Movement speed increased by .05 each level. Nothing special yet (unplanned)
Research different from Stat points, but still use stat points as they all have to be leveled up in order to get the level 5 benefits as the physical does not require all of each other to enhance the performance of itself
Fire rate - Increases fire rate of all weapons by 2% each level Damage - Increases damage by 2.5% each level Ammo capacity - Increases bullet ammo by 30 each level, shell/rocket ammo by 10 each level, increases cell ammo by 45 each level Starting bullet ammo 300, Starting shell/rocket ammo 100 Cell ammo 450
Advanced weaponry - After reaching level 5 or 10 in each Research you're weapons change.
All level 5 upgraded weapons Pistol - same fire rate and deals more damage than the normal pistol Shotgun - Automatic shotgun Super shotgun - Fires 20 pellets instead of 10 Chaingun - Becomes a minigun Fist - Having to carry all those weapons a long time sure has made you stronger!
Level 10 research Rocket launcher - On explosion 5 large cluster bombs explode and those explode on touch or after 3 seconds into 5 tiny bombs THAT'S 26 EXPLOSIONS! Plasma rifle - Becomes double barrled and fires dual piercing plasma! BFG11k - Instant BFG spray as well as matching fire rate of the unmodified chaingun Chainsaw - Now more awesome and grinds enemies TWICE AS FAST! (Dual chainsaw blades)
