Berg wants more of this. The question is: is Fed already going in that direction?
From what he mentioned about the pacing of the game, to the feeling of the guns, I honestly think Fed's moving in the right direction. For one, ALL of the handguns feel nothing like the originals they replaced. Our revolver has the same gamefeel as the revolver in BW_TDM and the Desert Eagle honestly isn't too far off. Rifles? The SCAR was already planned to get full auto when scoped to remove the old arcade feel. Plus, with fixed damage finally available to us, we can now begin putting in a proper damage scale into the game.
Plus, as everyone knows, I have no intention of changing the Doomguy speed. Rage failed from making that mistake and I intend to learn from it.
So, that covers a lot bases that don't even hit the ammo system's arcady gamefeel once the shotguns get their biggest buff: sci-fi ammo. So, to respond to Berg the way I was gonna: "We're already moving in that direction, just gotta get the stuff done."
